Refer to our website as to whether your proposed research is within the subject remit of AHRC . Who is eligible to apply Your application must include a project lead and at least one project co-lead. Each team member must contribute to: • the development of the research grant application • project leadership and management • joint publication of authored research This opportunity is open to applicants who meet the individual eligibility criteria . UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) acknowledges and supports different career paths within the research and innovation community. You do not need to hold an academic, research or teaching post to apply. Applications are welcomed from those working, for example, as archivists, curators, librarians, technicians and practitioners. You are eligible to apply if you: • are actively engaged in postdoctoral research • have either a doctorate or can show that you have equivalent research experience or training • have a level of skills, knowledge and experience that is appropriate for your proposed project • are a member of a recognised research organisation or have an offer of support (including use of facilities) from a recognised research organisation You must comply with our current eligibility criteria for standard Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) research grant applications. You can find more details in section two of the AHRC research funding guide . Brazilian partners • you must be based at an eligible institution in the State of São Paulo • before applying, you should contact FAPESP to confirm eligibility • FAPESP will provide a confirmation letter for eligible applicants which must be attached to the application form, submitted to AHRC • applications should be submitted simultaneously by the UK based project lead through the UKRI Funding Service, and by the São Paulo based project lead through the SAGe system Project co-leads Project co-leads are supported by this funding opportunity and includes project co-lead internationals. Project co-leads (from outside Brazil), based in non-UK research organisations can be included in research grant applications and funded by AHRC as part of the project co-lead (international) policy, as per the guidance below.
